So which is it CAVE, laziness or greed? :p Be a good developer and support Retina displays in the form of a FREE update like every other GOOD developer. Im not paying again for the same app in a higher resolution. Also, iPhone 5 support... NOW.

If Genius didnt recommend this on my iPad mini I probably never wouldve bought it. Serves me right for not checking but hopefully the developer would send out a free Retina update.

Love this game...but you cant unlock the Ura root on the iPhone 5 for some reason! On this version or HD! Have my old iPhone 4 and still not problem unlocking it. CAVE PLEASE FIX THIS BUG

Ive only had the game for short time but I am amazed at how well it plays on my iPod touch 5g. This is an old school arcade game straight up. Cave hits you intense, fast, and furious with this shooter. No holds barred, the game will take your breath away not only for its graphics but incredible gameplay that can attract newbies and hardcore fanatics alike. 5 stars all the way.

It’s nice to know that in a market that is dominated with cheap, forgettable stuff like Angry Birds, there are still some apps that are incredibly worthwhile. This just happens to be a perfect port of one of my favorite arcade games of all time, with incredibly smooth controls. It’s not the most accessible game out there (it is a bullet hell game after all), but if you’re looking for a challenge or just something on the App Store that’s actually worthwhile and really deserves to be called one of the greatest games of all time (seriously, despite the genre differences, I’d actually place this among Half-Life 2 and Silent Hill 2 as one of my favorite games), try this out.

Great new take on a classic game. If your debating on whether or not to get the HD version as opposed to this version consider this. 6$ is enough to buy another title from caves library. However if you are satisfied with only one title and enjoy bullet hell the HD upgrade is worth the money for the superior visual effect it has shown when I played the demo and compared then side by side. I enjoyed the original (BD) and its not HD so I chose this version rather than take sides over one version bc its HD. With this I was able to buy bug princess as well (for the price of just buying the HD) so depending on what you prefer this version will suffice if you dont care much for glittered graphics. Welcome to bullet hell and enjoy the Ride!
